After the approval of the Stability law for 2015 easier hiring will become part of the legal scenario: private sector employers who hire new employees with open-ended contracts from 1 January to 31 December 2015 will benefit, subject to certain conditions, and for a maximum of 36 months, from an exemption of the overall contribution they must pay, up to a limit of 8,060 euro per year.

One of the new features of the 2015 Stability Law is the possibility for employees (with a contract of at least six months) to collect the portions of accrued post-employment benefits (Italian TFR) on a monthly basis.

The 80 euro bonus introduced experimentally for only part of 2014, has become permanent. It should be noted that the income required for having the right to the 80 bonus will not include payment of post-employment benefits in the pay packet.

On 30 December 2014 an agreement was signed between Confindustria and Federmanager for renewal of the CCNL dirigenti contract, which will expire on 31 December 2018.

Law no. 183 became effective as of 16 December 2014 which grants the Government to power to revise the current Italian law regarding remote control in workplaces as per article 4 of the Worker Statute.
