A few months after the online procedure for the notification of resignation and agreements to terminate employment came into effect, amendments are already being recommended. The Employment Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate have approved, with some observations, the proposal of Labor Consultants to introduce «corrective measures» to improve the new procedure on terminating employment where the termination has not been completed after the offer of a severance package by the employer. Furthermore, the Senate has recommended including labor consultants, excluded until now, among those authorized to notify termination of employment. Approval by the government of the Decree amending the Jobs Act is still required before the measures take effect.
