The Article 1, paragraph 135 of the Stability Law 2014, provides that – from 1 January 2014 – the employer who requalifies a fixed term employment contract into an open ended one gets back by INPS the additional contribution “Aspi” (the Social Insurance for Employment). Therefore, with the new rule, the provision of the Law “Fornero” (Article 2, paragraph 30 of Law 92/2012) – according to which the additional contribution of 1,40 per cent are given back to the employer “within the limits of the last six months” in the event of requalification into an open ended contract or of a further employment (for an open ended term) – no longer operates.
